The Beauty of Handloom At Tari by Gayatri, we celebrate the art of slow fashion. Our sarees are meticulously handwoven by skilled artisans, and we embrace the unique characteristics that arise from these natural processes.

Please note that due to the artisanal nature of hand-weaving, your saree may feature slight irregularities such as minor variations in weave, slubs (slight thickening of the thread), or tiny knots. These are not considered flaws; they are the unique “fingerprints” of the weaver and a testament to the authentic handloom origin of your garment. By purchasing from Tari by Gayatri, you acknowledge and embrace these charming hallmarks of traditional South Asian craftsmanship.

Return & Exchange Policy We conduct rigorous quality checks before every shipment. In accordance with Australian Consumer Law, returns or exchanges are accepted under the following specific circumstances:

  • Incorrect Product: If you receive an item different from your confirmed order.

  • Manufacturing Defect: If the fabric is structurally damaged or compromised (excluding the natural handloom characteristics mentioned above).

How to Initiate a Return To ensure a smooth process, please adhere to these guidelines:

  1. Contact Us within 3 Days: If you believe your item is faulty or incorrect, please contact us within 3 days of delivery. Provide your order number, a detailed description, and photographs illustrating the concern.

  2. Original Condition: Items must be returned unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition. Sarees must have their original folds intact to ensure a fair assessment.

  3. Return Authorization: We will guide you through the process and provide a return authorization if the criteria are met.

  4. Shipping Costs: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to a confirmed manufacturing defect or a dispatch error on our part.

Refunds & Replacements Once we receive and inspect the item, we will notify you of the status. If eligible, you may choose a full refund to your original payment method or a replacement (subject to item availability).

Please note: We do not offer refunds or exchanges for “Change of Mind” or slight colour variations caused by digital screen settings.
